Make Bangalore Green 2016
To boost Bangalore’s climatic resilience and address a large scale on-the-ground plantation drive in Bangalore, a public-private partnership by BBMP and Make Bangalore Green (Hebron Properties Initiative)have collaborated in 2016 to make Bangalore green again. As per this afforestation drive, we have planted hundreds of trees in and around Bangalore. This will be a yearly activity and we would request your support by joining our Facebook page
PLANTDATORY
Plantdatory was another afforestation drive at our signature project – Hebron Enclave. We have invited few reputed schools in and around the project, as an attempt to cultivate positive emotions and responsibilities on protection of the environment through hands on activities among the younger generation.
COMPASSION UNFOLDED
We are actively involved in propagating awareness of various social issues in society. Given the alarming instances of Child Abuse in India generally & Bangalore in particular, Enfold Proactive Health Trust in association with Hebron Properties Pvt. Ltd. hosted a fundraising Live Musical Extravaganza, Compassion Unfolded, featuring Stephen Devassy & Vijay Prakash at Indiranagar Club on November 15th, 2014 in aid of Enfold’s Laksha Makkalu Suraksha Project to reach 1 lakh underprivileged and vulnerable children in government and aided schools, orphanages, and shelter homes.
JAKKUR LAKE REVIVAL
Hebron is one of the early campaigners among the city-based businesses to support the revival of Bangalore lakes. When governance is slack, the only way anything can be achieved is when the community takes leadership and persists with its goal. In 2014, we did our bit by planting 700 saplings around the lake and seeing it through with maintenance support since then.
LOCAL COMMUNITY
As responsible corporate citizens Hebronians are genuinely committed to improving society. We celebrated one of our important milestone achievements at Acharya Sri Rakum Institution, a school for the blind, which is in close proximity to one of our projects – Lelexuz Stoneview. We generously contributed in cash and kind to the visually impaired children. These little children kept their face to the sunshine and made sure they never saw the shadows.
